Reflection

When creating a website, your users must be able to contact you in case they run into any mishaps or have any questions, comments, or concerns. Having a Contact Me page, along with your contact information available makes it easier for your users to easily and readily contact you. Including a page with visual menu items allows the user to visualize what their dish may look like, as it may be new to them and they might not be sure of what it is they are ordering.

The About Me Page is used for individuals accessing my website to gain a further understanding of me as the creator, as well as for the individual to develop an understanding of my website.

The Traditional Dishes Page is used to provide users with a visual understanding of the dishes offered, as well as a description of what the dishes are and what they are served with.

The Reflection Page is used for me as a creator to reflect on the easiness and accessibility of my website, along with my reflection on my experience using WordPress.

For Milestone 3, I tried to correct mistakes made in Milestone 2. I attempted to implement more visuals relating to the purpose of my website, along with descriptive texts to help develop the understanding of these visuals. On the Traditional Dishes page, I included pictures found on the web of Traditional Puerto Rican foods that one may find anywhere on the island. Once my family and I open our actual restaurant, these pictures will be uploaded to be the dishes made by us specifically. I provided captions under each dish with explanations of what each dish is, as well as what the dish is typically eaten with. Though I experienced difficulty linking an image to the frame provided when creating a wireframe, I had a clear image of what I wanted my website to visually appear as. Within Milestone 3, I also attempted to change theme and customize the theme I selected, just to obtain more experience as I continue to work with WordPress.
